BEAN STATION, Tenn. a€" Allison Christina Freeze, 21, of Bean Station, formally of Elkhart, Ind., passed away Tuesday, June 30, in Johnson City, Tenn. She was born April 4, 1994, in Elkhart, to Alan H. and Peggy A. (Jones) Freeze. Surviving are her mother, Peggy Freeze; eight siblings, Robert (Renee) Pontius III, James Pontius, Michael (Heather) Pontius, Christopher (Jana) Pontius, Jamie Freeze, Christina (Vic) Mann, April Freeze and Stephanie (Jack) Stouder; 14 nephews; five nieces; her grandparents, Belva Belcher and Harvey and Elizabeth Freeze; and several uncles and aunts. She was preceded in death by her father, Alan Freeze, on Jan. 12, 2007, and by her maternal grandparents. Allison graduated in 2012 from Jimtown High School. She enjoyed helping other people, being with her friends, spending time with family a€" especially her nieces and nephews, hiking, playing the bass guitar, singing and mentoring her cousin, Carina. Visitation for family and friends will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, at Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, at the funeral home. Pastor Victor Burson from Northside Church of the Nazarene will preside and burial will follow in Olive (West) Cemetery.
