Andrew Lyle Moore

Andrew Lyle Moore, age 17 of Osceola, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2017. Andrew was born January 12, 2000 in Elkhart, Indiana. He was a student at Memorial High School and most recently attended Tipton Academy Life Center where he was awarded a certificate as “Student of the Year” and several awards for academic achievement. Surviving is his mother Amy L. Moore of Osceola, his siblings Isaac and Thomas Searfoss, both of Osceola, his grandparents “Grammy & Pawpee” Gary and Beth Moore of Granger and George and Sylvia Searfoss of Elkhart. Also surviving are his great grandparents Vic and Patricia Moore of Boise, Idaho and Ernie and Yvone Kish of Osceola, his aunts, Amanda Moore of Elkhart and Ashley Moore of Granger, and his Uncle Ned Wilcox of Elkhart. Surviving as well are his cousins Adam, Myah, Ava, Ethen and Jaxson. Memorial visitation will be held from 2-6 pm Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Cruz Family Funeral Home, 1109 Lincolnway West, Osceola, Indiana with a celebration of life service to follow at 6:00pm. Private interment will follow at a later date in Harris Prairie Cemetery in Granger. Andrew began working almost a year ago at Mancino’s Restaurant and was most recently employed at Qdoba Grill in Elkhart. In his spare time, he was an avid outdoorsman, spending afternoons fishing, hunting Morel Mushrooms, and popping fireworks. Andrew also loved watching sports, especially the Chicago Bulls. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family camping in Michigan.
