Anna Perez

Anna Elizabeth Perez, age 24 of Elkhart, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 16, 2024, while in IU Methodist Hospital of Indianapolis.  Anna was born April 20, 2000, in Elkhart, Indiana to Fidel Perez and Claudia Reyes. She was a graduate of Goshen High School and later attended IUSB where she studied for a career Criminal Investigations. While earning her degree, Anna was a caretaker for the elderly at several nursing homes throughout the Elkhart area.

She is survived by the love of her life, Pablo Guerrero and their daughter, Analeya Perez, both of Elkhart.  Surviving as well are her mother and step-father, Claudia and Cristian Reyes and her siblings Christopher Perez, Sebastian Perez, Dominik Valtierra and Dylan Valtierra. She is also survived by her grandparents Matilda Fernandez and Rogelio Reyes.

Visitation will be held from 4-6 pm Tuesday September 24, 2024 at Cruz Family Funeral Home in Osceola with her funeral service immediately following at 6:00 PM.

Anna was extremely creative and had a deep love for creating art and crocheting. She enjoyed reading and often found comfort in the stories she explored. Her sense of humor was one of her most memorable traits—she loved making people laugh and had a talent for joking around with others in a way that brightened the room.

Above all, Anna cherished her time with her family. She had a special bond with her daughter, whom she loved and adored more than anything. Her warmth, laughter, and love for her family will be remembered by everyone who knew her.

Anna Elizabeth Perez, de 24 años de Elkhart, se murió el lunes 16 de septiembre de 2024, en el Hospital Metodista IU de Indianápolis. Anna nació el 20 de abril de 2000 en Elkhart, Indiana, hija de Fidel Perez y Claudia Reyes. Se graduó de la escuela secundaria de Goshen y luego asistió a la Universidad de Indiana South Bend (IUSB), donde estudió para una carrera en investigaciones criminales. Mientras obtenía su título, Anna trabajó como cuidadora de ancianos en varios hogares de cuidado en la zona de Elkhart.

La visita será de 4:00 a 6:00 PM Martes 24 de Septiembre de 2024 en Cruz Family Funeral Home en Osceola, seguida de su servicio funerario inmediatamente a las 6:00 PM.

Anna era extremadamente creativa y tenía un profundo amor por crear arte y tejer a crochet. Disfrutaba leer y a menudo encontraba consuelo en las historias que exploraba. Su sentido del humor era una de sus cualidades más memorables: le encantaba hacer reír a las personas y tenía el talento para bromear de una manera que iluminaba cualquier lugar.

Por encima de todo, Anna valoraba mucho su tiempo con su familia. Tenía un vínculo especial con su hija, a quien amaba y adoraba más que a nada en el mundo. Su calidez, risa y amor por su familia serán recordados por todos los que la conocieron.
