A few things you may not know about Art, he was a wonderful bowler who took Laurie every Wednesday to watch him and his team. One day, Art bowled a 290, just one strike away from a perfect score. He managed little girls’ softball and everybody wanted to be on his team. His team was good, and they always had fun.
Art encouraged his daughters in any endeavors they pursued. He was at every piano recital or concert and all of their friends considered Art as their dad too. He was a Saturday morning cartoon and Railroad man. His children loved the stories he told.
He was employed for many years as an engineer at the CTS Corporation in Elkhart, and in 1981, he started his famous career at Mr. G’s in Osceola. In the evenings if the band “PS Dump Your Boyfriend” played Dragula by Rob Zombie, everyone would stay on the dance floor with Art. He could dance!
Art had not one enemy in this world, His heart was big, and he just wanted to share it with everyone. If you were blessed enough to know him and spend time with him, you are a better person for it.
