Austin James Wilson

Austin James Wilson, age 26, of Osceola, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on October 28, 2022. Austin was born on May 6, 1996, in Elkhart, Indiana and was a 2015 graduate of Mishawaka High School.

All who knew Austin, lost a shining light in their lives.

Austin is survived by his mother Rhonda Yost of Osceola, his sister Jennifer (Zack) Schmucker of Edwardsburg, his sister Jessica (Jeff) Ball of Elkhart, his sister Stephanie (Jose) Maldonado of Elkhart, and his brother Shane (Colleen) Wilson of Nappanee.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bradley Wilson, Jr., who we are certain met him at the Heavenly gates to hold his hand once again.

Austin was a free spirit, who enjoyed playing basketball, swimming, and ice skating. If he was on a bicycle, scooter, skateboard, or dirt bike, you could physically feel his joy.

While he enjoyed the excitement of moving fast, nothing fulfilled him more than slowing down to surround himself with family and play with his many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Friday, November 4, 2022, at Cruz Family Funeral Home in Osceola.  Immediately following visitation, please join us at 7pm to share in memories of Austin and celebrate his short but beautiful life.

Because of his young age, and unexpected passing, the Wilson family respectfully requests donations be made toward Austin's final expenses in lieu of flowers by following the instructions on the "DONATE" tab above.
