Barbara Ann (Donath) Chipps

Barbara Ann “Barb” Chipps, age 66 of Mishawaka, passed away November 19, 2020 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.  Barb was born July 24, 1954 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Chester and Anna Marie (Weaver) Donath.

She is survived by her children David Chipps and Amanda Chipps, both of Mishawaka, 12 grandchildren; Mariah, Hailey, Braden, Kayden, Kamryella, Kolby, Kamiah, Makenzie, Carlos, Destiny, Jayden and Noah, and her step son, Jason Chipps of Tucson, Arizona.  Surviving as well are her siblings Brian (Jan) Donath of Edwardsburg, Michigan, Brad (Karen) Donath of Granger, Brenda (Larry) Chipps of Mishawaka, and Beverly (Art Pletcher) DeWulf of Mishawaka.  She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Chipps and her son Jeremy Chipps in 2011.

Barb was a homemaker and enjoyed playing games on her phone and tablet, cooking for her family, and having movie marathons with her sister Bev.  She also was very fond of her cats Mookie and Chloe, and her dogs Zeus and Peanut.

Most of all, Barb was a loving mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed.
