They recently celebrated fifty-seven years of marriage.

Her brother, Norman Landis preceded her in death.

Following her graduation from Edwardsburg High School, Beverly earned her bachelor's degree in elementary education from Bethel University in Mishawaka in 1969. She taught for five years before becoming a stay-at-home mother to raise her three children. Once her children were grown, Beverly took a position with CHASE Bank training tellers for more than 12 years. Following her retirement, Bev took a part-time position with Martin’s Supermarkets, Heritage Square, where she assisted customers in navigating the store daily. When her grandchildren were born, Bev once more retired to take care of them as well as her Aunt Phyllis who began to suffer from dementia.

In her spare time, she enjoyed doing word puzzles, caring for the grandchildren she adored and spending time with her sisters. Bev will be remembered for her extravagant New Year’s Day parties in her home. She was one of the most organized people one could know and never forgot any of her family’s birthdays or anniversaries.

A woman of great faith, Beverly enjoyed spending time at River Valley Church where she was attended for over 20 years. Her faith in the Lord was strong and she enjoyed spending time with her church family in weekly bible studies for many years. Her faith in God also taught her to be generous to others and to have a kind heart and to love unconditionally.

In her memory, donations may be made to I6EIGHT Missions to support her son and daughter-in-law's ministry online at www.i6eight.org . To light a virtual candle, share a story of her life, or leave a message of comfort for her family, please follow the links provided on the tribute wall tab above.
