Brian Lee Carpenter

Brian Lee Carpenter of Mishawaka, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on December 6, 2024, at the age of 56. He was born on October 22, 1968, in Mishawaka and attended Mishawaka High School. 

Brian is survived by his beloved children, Joseph “Joey” Travers of Mishawaka, and Madisyn Aubrey Carpenter of Topeka, Kansas. He is also survived by his siblings: Brenda (Johnny Warren) Carpenter of Alcoa, Tennessee; David (Pam) Carpenter of Mechanicsville, Virginia; Teresa (Donnie) Tate of South Bend, Michael (Carmen) Carpenter of Mishawaka, Douglas (Lisa) Long of Tampa, Florida, and Brad Carpenter of Constantine, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his father, David Allen Carpenter and his mother, Linda F. (Devenney) Long. 

Brian will be remembered as a man of many talents and a heart full of generosity. He enjoyed listening to all different types of music, playing his guitar, riding his bike, and tinkering with just about anything he could get his hands on. His kindhearted nature and love for his family were evident in everything he did. Brian also had a deep affection for dogs and found joy in life’s simple pleasures.

There will be no formal services for Brian, but the family asks that you honor him in your own special way. Cruz Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Osceola has been entrusted with his care.
