Bryan Douglas Bailey, age 40 of Niles, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on June 15, 2020 following an automobile accident.   Bryan was born September 4, 1979 in Winamac, Indiana.  He attended Washington High School in South Bend, and later earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Ball State University.

Surviving is his mother Cheryl Diedrich of Cassopolis, Michigan, and his sister Amy Heppner and her husband Shawn of Niles, Michigan.  Also surviving is his favorite niece, Hailey Heppner who he enjoyed spending time and goofing off with, along with his Aunt Rita Jablon and her husband Howard of Michiana Shores, Indiana, and uncles Jim Bailey of LaPorte, Alan Bailey and his wife Robin of Knox, Indiana and Scott Bailey of LaPorte, Indiana.  Bryan is also survived by his close cousin Adrienne Rebac and her husband Ethan, and his cousins Bobby, Theresa, Amber, James, Sarah, Nickolas and Cassie.

A celebration of Bryan’s life will be held at 6:00 pm Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Cruz Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Osceola.

Bryan will be remembered by his family and friends as a “fun-loving goof-ball” who had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh.  In his spare time, Bryan enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors, helping his brother-in-law Shawn coach his niece Hailey’s softball teams, and watching Chicago sports, especially the Cubs and the Bears.
