Brother Charles gave his heart to the Lord in Cabin Creek, West Virginia in 1943 at the age of 8, and served Him faithfully throughout his entire life. He preached his first sermon at the age of 16 and shortly thereafter, began his ministry as an assistant pastor. At the age of 17, he began preaching revival services and became a full-time minister in the Church of God of Prophecy at the age of 20, doing the Lord’s will until his retirement in September of 2021.

In his spare time, Charles was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed deer hunting and fishing. He was also a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and loved to use new technology to create videos of his family’s history and the wildlife he would hunt.
