There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the 11:00 am funeral service on Monday, March 28, 2022, at Southside General Baptist Church and interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.

Charles was employed for 40 years with Armco Steel (later ConTech Construction Products) until his retirement in 1992.  In his spare time, he loved working on old tractors and lawn mowers, restoring them to their original glory.  He also loved spending time outdoors, working in his garden, and attending auctions and sales.  Simple living was always enough for Charles.

Most of all, Charles loved the Lord with all his heart.  He was a founding member of Southside General Baptist Church and faithfully served as both a deacon and a trustee for many years.  He served as the hands and feet of Jesus when he read his bible, visited the sick and took time to pray for his family and the families of the church daily.

In his memory, donations may be made to Southside General Baptist Church.  To light a virtual candle, share a story of Charles’ life, or leave a message of comfort for his family, please follow the links provided on the tribute wall tab above.
