Cheri L. Birtcher

Cheri Lynn Birtcher, age 65, of Mishawaka, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. Cheri was born May 22, 1949 in Houston, Texas to the late Homer W. Birtcher and Sara Beth (Erwin) Birtcher-Smith. Surviving are three daughters; Tiffany (Don) Perry of Osceola, Shea A. McCormick and Sara Cole (Bobby) Barnette, both of Houston, Texas. Also surviving are ten grandchildren; Steven, Aliah, Elahe, Amanda, Ali, Chloe, Fiona, Ruby, Leah, and R.J. Cheri was preceded in death by her sister, Bette Gautreaux. There will be a private celebration of her life at a later date. Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Cheri was employed as a professional secretary for many years. She was very artistic, and enjoyed music, photography, painting watching old movies, and reading. In her memory, donations may be made to St. Margaret's House 117 N.
