Clyde O. Rose, age 87 of Mishawaka passed away at Wellbrooke of South Bend on December 8, 2016. Clyde was born March 22, 1929 in Appalachia, Virginia to the late Ira and Mary Alma (Potest) Rose. On February 8, 1991, Clyde married Betty Gravel. She preceded him in death. Surviving are 4 step children Ronnie Grafton of Indianapolis, Indiana Cindy Grafton of Texas, Michelle Alter of Mishawaka, Indiana and Tracy (Rick) Schultz of Valparaiso, Indiana. Also surviving are his grandchildren Nicholas & Nathan Grafton, Cole Mager, Bill, Jennifer & Joshua Alter, Brandon Grafton, Kristen Walz, Sara Grafton, Amber and Ronald Tyler, Richard Fasel, Stephanie Brazee, Michelle McPherson, Traci Fasel and Michael Fasel & 16 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. His daughters, Crystal Fasel and Pamela St. Pierre, preceded him in death, as did his step-son Tony Grafton and his brothers Dewey and Harold Rose. There will be a celebration of Clyde's life from 12-3 pm Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Sprenger Healthcare of Mishawaka, 60257 Bodnar Dr. Mishawaka, IN 46544. Zimmerman Inman Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Clyde was a hard worker and owned and operated a Mobil Filling Station for many years in Hobart, Indiana. He also worked for 20 years at Strack & Van Til Grocery Stores. In his retirement, he enjoyed spending time working in his yard, working on cars, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was also a dedicated member of the Demotte Christian Church where he served as a Deacon. In his memory, donations may be made to the Rose family.
