Visitation for the Handley family will be private, and a graveside service will be held for the immediate family at 2pm on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at Fairview Cemetery in Mishawaka. Cruz Family Funeral Home in Osceola has been entrusted with his care. Due to the guidelines for public gathering, we will be streaming Dan’s graveside ceremony on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/CruzFamilyFH As the public gathering guidelines begin to relax, a celebration of Dan's life will take place at Cruz Family Funeral Home in Osceola.
Dan will be remembered for his love of music, especially playing his guitar and singing Johnny Cash songs for his family at their family reunions. He was an outgoing and social person and loved to talk to anyone and everyone he met, often making his family late for appointments when he would meet a new friend. He was an avid fan of NASCAR racing, fishing, shooting his guns, and lighting off fireworks with his family and friends. Dan was also a proud American who flew the United States flag in his yard daily. Most of all, he will be remembered by his loving family and friends as a “family man” who worked hard and sacrificed for his wife and children.
