Denny was employed for many years as a parts runner for Holiday Rambler and retired at the age of 62. He was a man who loved and cherished the simple joys in life. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially camping with his family. He was a talented musician who loved playing his guitar and sharing his talent with others. In his downtime, you could often find Denny watching NASCAR, old Westerns, professional wrestling, game shows like Family Feud, or the Rocky movie series—some of his all-time favorites. Denny never missed a chance to watch church services on TV every Sunday, finding comfort and connection to his faith in the messages shared.

He was a proud member of the Moose Lodge in Mishawaka and the American Legion Post 308 in Osceola, where he formed longtime friendships. Denny enjoyed a good drink now and then, with his go-to being Calvert's and Diet Pepsi.
