Donald "Rusty" E. Deberry

Donald E. “Rusty” DeBerry, age 48, passed away unexpectedly on December 20, 2022.  Rusty was born April 3,1974, in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.

Surviving is his wife, Abigail DeBerry of Mishawaka and his children, Erica (Shawn Peppers) DeBerry, Candice (Aaron) Rife, Byron (Alexandria Grant) DeBerry and Daniel DeBerry, all of Mishawaka and 10 grandchildren: Shawn Jr., Layla, Landin, Lydia, Hunter, Aaron Jr. Koalten, Milo, Lukas, and Braiden.  Rusty is also survived by his siblings Billie Makin of South Bend, Kathleen Guthrie of Akron, Ohio, David (Janice) Baer of Crucible, Pennsylvania, Glenn W. (Heather) Cramer, Keith (Pam) Cramer, both of Ohio and Shawn (Naomi) Cramer of Mishawaka. Rusty was preceded in death by his parents,  Roselma  and Glenn Cramer.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 30, 2022, afrom 2-4 pm at Cruz Family Funeral Home in Osceola.

Rusty was employed as a mechanic in the automotive industry for many years and was extremely talented in engine repair, bodywork and paint.  He was also a skilled handyman who remodeled homes and used his talents to help others.  When he wasn’t out riding his motorcycle or jamming to loud music, he loved to spoil his grandkids who were very close to “Papa Rusty.”  His sense of humor and friendly demeanor will be missed by all who knew him.
