Doug enjoyed hunting small game animals and fishing. He was the owner and operator of Schosker Roofing and throughout his life he enjoyed construction trade work where he served his clients ethically and always provided “over the top” customer service. He will be remembered as a man who was fiercely loyal, honest and fair, and protective of his family and closest friends. At times, Doug could be stubborn, but deep down he was a gentle giant.
Doug enjoyed pulling pranks on his friends and family. In his spare time, he loved to shoot pool at Club 15 and the Wooden Shoe in Mishawaka. He was always eager to learn new things and research topics related to the subject he was inquisitive about so he could talk with others about them later. Most of all, Doug loved being a husband, dad, and “Papa” to his family.
