Ed graduated from Penn High School in 1985, where he was on the wrestling team. He attended Southwestern Michigan College and in 1999, Ed took a position as a Network Administrator at Martins Supermarkets. Throughout his career, Ed became close with many of his co -workers in the corporate office, the IT department and management at Martins and considered most of them to be like his extended family.
He loved traveling, cruising and island hopping. His favorite destination was Barbados. Ed loved to spend time fishing with his nephews and several close friends. The times he spent fishing with them has left memories that will last a lifetime. He also enjoyed hunting, playing golf, computer gaming and watching sports. His favorite teams were the Chicago Bears, the Chicago Blackhawks, and USC (to the dismay of his Notre Dame family and friends).
Cremation has taken place, and per his request, there will be no formal service. A private family gathering will take place at a later time. Cruz Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Osceola is assisting the family.
