Osceola- Estell Dosch, 96, of Osceola passed away at 9:10 on Monday, November 17, 2014 at Elkhart Hospice House. She was born on August 16, 1918 in Angola, IN to Owen & Annie (Thomson) Elson. Estell married George Dosch on December 31, 1938 in Kendallville, IN. He preceded her in death on May 13, 1990 in Elkhart. She is survived by 1 daughter, Sue (John) Steckly, 4 grandchildren, Marsha (Bill) Holdeman, Mike (Hayley) Steckly, Nathan (Shannon) Shupert and Britton (Chad) Odle. Also surviving are 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by 1 daughter, Nancy Shupert and 3 sisters, Lucille Kite, Arlene Fenley and Wanda Metzner. Estell was employed by J.C. Penny for 21 years and worked in food service for 15 years with the Elkhart Community School system. She was a member of the Osceola United Methodist Church for 50 plus years. She enjoyed sewing, doing crafts and spending time with her family. Services for Estell will be at noon on Friday, November 21, 2014 with visitation 2 hours prior at Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home. Pastor Bob Vale will be presiding. Immediately following the service there will be a dinner at the Osceola United Methodist Church. There will be a graveside service at 4:00 p.m. at Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville, IN.
