Farrell Copeland Bever, 92, passed away on July 14, 2023.
He was born March 29, 1931 in Bluff City, Arkansas to Clyde Herding and Grace Henry Bever. He was one of 13 children and the surviving five are Catherine Bever of Conroe, TX, Clyde (Connie) Gaylon of Camden, Arkansas, Claudette Gonzales of Granite Shoals, TX, Russell Ray (Judy) Bever of Pine Bluff, Ark., and Douglas Layvelle Bever of Alabama.
Farrell moved to Mishawaka and married Rosa Bell Gerald of Rockingham, NC in 1951. Together, they had two daughters, Pam Kay Vitali and Barbara Ann Bever. Pam passed away in January of 2011. They also have a surviving granddaughter, Deana Rose Vitali.
He went into the National Guard and served in Korea for a year and a half in 1951. He was honorably discharged in 1960 and earned the rank of Corporal. Farrell came back and worked at Drewry’s in South Bend and at Valley Screen. He was a faithful Christian and loved his family, the tv show M.A.S.H. and Notre Dame Football.
Visitation for Farrell will be August 3, 2023, 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at The Church of Christ Church off of Currant road in Mishawaka, Indiana. The Funeral service will be held on August 5, 2023 at Cruz Family Funeral Home in Osceola Indiana at 11:00 am with a burial to follow at the Osceola Cemetery.
