FRANK P. EVANS November 17, 1919 - November 7, 2014 ELKHART- Frank P. Evans of Elkhart at the age 94, went behind the clouds on Friday November 7, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, three daughters, Diane Hurlbutt, Kaylan Krause, Lucy Ward, a grandson Michael Sult and a step-daughter, Aletha Paluzzi and a step-grandson, Michael Paluzzi. He is survived by his wife Barbara, a sister Fran Fischer, daughters, Jeanette (Jerry) Sword, Sue (Tom) Anderson, Phoebe Spence, Zora (Buster) Sult, Frances Evans; sons, Paul (Marcia) Evans, Thomas (Wendy) Evans; step-daughters, Gwen (Andy) Bennett, Gail (Joe) Bailey; step-son, Marvin (Kathy) Walters, John (Lynn) Walters, Floyd (Wanda) Walters. Also left to cherish his memory are many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and two special nieces Sandy and Carol. Frank worked for South Bend Freight for 47 years, retiring in 1987. He loved being a truck driver. He was a member of Local #367 for many years and was a member of the Civil Defense. Frank never said a bad word about anyone and he was a very kind and loving man to all who knew him. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and from 12- 1 p.m. Thursday at Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday November 13, 2014 at the funeral home. Pastor Chuck Worting from the Northway Church of Christ in South Bend will preside and burial will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park in Granger where Adam Sult will render the committal service.
