Gary W. Schuetz

Gary W. Schuetz, age 68 of Elkhart, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Riverside Village after a lengthy illness.  Gary was born April 20, 1952 in Fenton, Missouri to Donald and LaVerne (Kempf) Schuetz.

Surviving are his sons Keith Schuetz and his wife Heather and Geoff Schuetz, both of Goshen, Indiana. Also surviving is his mother LaVerne Schuetz  and his brother Dale Schuetz, both of Fenton, Missouri. Gary is also survived by five grandchildren; Kaden, Hailey, Preston, Benjamin, and Grant.

Visitation will be held from 11am – 1pm Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Cruz Family Funeral Home in Osceola.

Gary was employed for over thirty years as an automotive body repair specialist.  In his spare time, Gary enjoyed fishing and roller skating, as well as collecting and restoring classic cars.  He was also a licensed pilot and the proud owner of a Cessna 152 airplane and enjoyed flying immensely.  Most of all, he loved spending time with his sons and his grandchildren.
