George Matthew Pyclik, age 52, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Elkhart on the morning of August 12, 2021. George was born March 13, 1969 in Lansing, Michigan. He was a graduate of Ithaca High School, class of 1988. On May 4, 1990, he married Dawn Fergison.
George is survived by his wife, Dawn Pyclik of Osceola, his mother and stepfather Cynthia and Bill Swanson, and his children Zach Fergison of White Pigeon, Michigan and Autumn Morgan of Osceola. Surviving as well are his stepsisters Kristie and Melissa Swanson and his nieces Josie and Jayla Standrick and Shelby Austin. George was preceded in death by his grandparents George and Marian Croze, his father George Frank Pyclik and his sister Andrea Lynn Robinson.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 pm Monday, August 16, 2021 at Cruz Family Funeral Home in Osceola, with funeral services beginning at 4pm.
George had a strong work ethic and he was employed for many years in the RV and manufactured housing industry. His current position as a supervisor at the White Pigeon Michigan Forest River plant exemplified the strong leadership skills he possessed. In his spare time, George enjoyed watching NASCAR, bowling and playing golf, playing penny slots at the casino, grilling outdoors, and watching Notre Dame football.
Most of all, George was a loving son, husband and father who loved his family more than anything else in the world.
Because George was so fond of animals, his family is requesting donations be given in lieu of flowers to the Humane Society of Elkhart, 54687 Co Rd 19, Bristol, IN 46507.
