Gloria served her family as a homemaker and enjoyed working in her flower gardens, bird watching, crocheting and needlepoint, and taking her daily one-mile walk.  She later found a talent for digital photography and enjoyed taking and editing pictures of all types of people and places, especially birds and flowers.  Gloria also enjoyed baking and hosting a weekly tea party for her family and friends.  The pies she made from scratch won numerous pie baking contests at the annual Osceola Bluegrass Festival.  In her younger years, she enjoyed making crafts and painting, especially oil painting, and creating porcelain dolls for her friends and family.

Most of all, Gloria loved the Lord.  She read her Bible daily, and always volunteered her time to others at the Osceola United Methodist Church, where she was a faithful and longtime member.
