Because of his love for Thanksgiving, A celebration of Greg’s life will be held in late November. We will update the service information on our website as it becomes available. Cruz Family Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements.
Greg was employed as a manager in the car wash industry where he used his talents to become an expert in detailing vehicles. Most recently, he worked as a greeter at Meijer in South Bend. His love for Christ also led him to serve others in the community as a bell ringer for the Salvation Army and with the Center for the Homeless to deliver meals to those in need.
In his spare time, Greg loved rock and roll, the Chicago Bears, watching CSI Miami and fast cars, especially his 1977 Gran Torino. In his younger years, he was quite athletic and excelled on the basketball court as well. Most of all, Greg was an avid angler and enjoyed spending time on the lakes and rivers fishing.
