Gregory, known more closely as Greg, was a dedicated father, grandfather, sibling and friend. He was known for his strong sense of self, for being steadfast in moments of weakness, he loved music, and outdoors is where he felt the most relaxed and connected to the world. After Greg had his stroke in 1992 he faced the toughest change in life he would ever have to challenge and overcome. His strength, his perseverance, his trust in God, his belief that he was truly doing "better than most" on some days are what made his life as blessed and substantial as it was.
Greg touched so many lives, over so many years, it's impossible to say just what made him, him. If it was warm and sunny out, you'd find him laid back and relaxed in the sun at the Fish Ladder in Downtown South Bend or sitting listening to the tunes flow at Fridays at the Fountain. He always had an entrepreneurial spirit, and if he set his mind to do something, he was going to do just that.
