Gregory Todd Kochersperger, age 53, of Goshen, passed away at Elkhart General Hospital on June 24, 2021.  Greg was born April 11, 1968 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late  Roger Lee and Rosemary Hilda (Link) Kochersperger.  On July 23, 2011, he married Debbie Phelps in South Bend.

Debbie survives, along with her children Cassie Kerr, Joshua and Jacob Link, and Ariana and Rudy Gonzalez.  Surviving as well are Greg’s siblings Kim (Robin Lane) Kochersperger and Brian (Stacy) Kochersperger, both of Kentucky.  He is also survived by 12 grandchildren who he adored: Nathan and Caden Kerr, Jayden, Cameron, Cayson and Isaiah Link, Lyluh, Aliah and James Link, Santiago and Junior Calderas, and Rafael Gonzalez along with his niece Madeleigh Kochersperger and David and Benjamin Kochersperger.

There will be a celebration of Greg’s life from 6-8 pm Thursday, July 1, 2021, at Grace Community Church 20076 Co Rd 36, Goshen, IN 46526.  Cruz Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Osceola is assisting with the details.

Greg was most recently employed as a custodian with the Goshen School System.  He attended Grace Community Church in Goshen as well.  In his spare time, Greg enjoyed watching “Finding Bigfoot” and other reality shows and was enthusiastic about history.

Most of all, Greg loved to kid his friends and family and make others laugh. His family was of the utmost importance to him, and though many of them reside in Kentucky, he always made time to call and stay in contact with them over the phone.
