Harold C Arnold

OSCEOLA- Harold C. Arnold, 72, of Osceola, passed away on Tuesday March 25, 2014 at Elkhart General Hospital. He was born November 30, 1941 in Paris, Illinois to Hugh & Hazel (Collins) Arnold.

On September 5, 1959 in Niles, Michigan he married Sharon L. Bunch. She survives along with 2 children, Robert (Vicky) Arnold, Jerrice Arnold; 1 grandson, Harold “Cliff” Arnold and a great-grandson, Holden Arnold all of Osceola. Also surviving are 2 brothers, Raymond (Jane) Arnold of Burlington, WI, Jerry (Janet) Arnold of Osceola, IN; 4 half-sisters, Kathy Clark of Mishawaka, Vickie (Tom) Konaz of Elkhart, Sherry Parr of Lexington, KY, Karen Arnold of Ft. Wayne, IN; a sister-in-law, Cheryl Arnold of Elkhart and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, Curtis Arnold, 2 brothers, Roy & Russell Arnold and a sister-in-law, Linda Arnold.

Harold was a US Navy veteran; was a member of the Osceola American Legion Post #308, a member of the Mishawaka Masonic Lodge #130, a member of the Scottish Rite Valley of South Bend, the York Rite, the Mizpah Shrine, was a legion rider and a member of HOG. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Harold also was an avid ham radio operator. He was a business owner and supervisor for many years in Osceola.

Visitation for Harold will be from 2-4 p.m. Saturday March 29, 2014 at Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home in Osceola. At 4:00 p.m. the Mishawaka Masonic Lodge will render a masonic memorial service at the funeral home. Then the Osceola American Legion Post #308 will render military honors.
