Jim’s zest for life touched everyone he met. He was an adventurer at heart, enjoying time spent outdoors or looking over the handlebars of his Harley. Recently acquiring a new friend, Abbott, he was more than just a dog, but a loyal companion. Jim’s love for animals extended beyond his own pet – over the years he rescued numerous dogs from shelters, giving them a second chance at happiness. His computer skills were unmatched, and Jim stayed busy tinkering and building things. He was also a fan of VANS shoes. Jim’s collection was legendary – over 100 pairs, yet his favorite pair was his classic checkerboard patterned pair.
Jim’s legacy lives on through the memories he created the laughter he shared, and the love he gave. In his memory, donations may be made to the Elkhart Humane Society.
