Jamie Allen Kovach

Jamie Allen Kovach, age 46 of New Carlisle, passed away surrounded by his family at his home on Hudson Lake on Friday morning, July 30, 2021.  Jamie was born March 14, 1975, in South Bend.

He is survived by his children Brenden Kovach, Danielle Frost, Bria Aviles, Abbigayle Milcherska and Melanie Ginther.  Surviving as well is his fiancée Tara Fecho of New Carlisle and his siblings Wendy (Jason) Montana of South Bend and Johnie (fiancée Jennifer) Beavo of Mishawaka. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and 3 great nieces survive also. Jamie was preceded in death by his parents Johnie Beavo and Betty Grenier, his grandmother Dollie Kovach and his aunts Shirley Kovach and Sharon Johnson.

The family will hold a celebration of Jamie’s life at a later date. Cruz Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service is assisting with the details.

Jamie was employed as a shipping manager at Lebermuth in South Bend for several years.  In his spare time, Jamie loved lake life, being outdoors, especially taking walks with Tara, and being on the beach.  He was also a longtime fan of the Miami Dolphins and more recently the Kansas City Chiefs as well as the Chicago Cubs.  He was also an avid fan of professional wrestling.
