Jan was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend who touched the lives of everyone she met with her warm smile and kind words. She had a profound love for flower gardening and loved planting and caring for her stunning rose gardens and filling her yard with beautiful impatiens and petunias. She also had a special place in her heart for her two cherished toy poodles, who were her constant companions.

An avid fan of Elvis Presley, Jan would often be seen smiling and dancing to his music in the living room, her joy infectious to those around her. She had a passion for precisely painting ceramics, creating beautiful pieces that showcased her attention to detail. Jan also enjoyed biblical word searches, finding peace and fulfillment in the quiet moments of reflection they provided. Some of Jan's happiest moments were spent at Lake Michigan, where she loved sunbathing and watching the evening sunsets while listening to the soothing sounds of the waves as they crashed upon the shore.

Family was the cornerstone of Jan's life. She treasured every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, extended family, and friends. Her home was filled with laughter and fun and her heart overflowed with unconditional love, which she generously shared with everyone through her warm smile and kind words.

More than anything, Jan found strength in her faith. Jesus was her Lord and Savior, and she prayed constantly, always thankful for her family's health and safety. Her faith was an ever-present guide, providing her with comfort and direction throughout her life. Jan's legacy is one of love, faith, and joy. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
