Jean Ann (Hahaj) Beatty

Jean Ann “Jeanie” Beatty, age 66 of Mishawaka, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at Memorial Hospital in South Bend.  Jeanie was born June 24, 1955, in South Bend to the late Eugene Walter and Mary Lou (Carpenter) Hahaj.  She was a graduate of LaSalle High School, class of 1973, and later was employed for over 25 years with Bayer and Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics where she assembled diabetic test products.

She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter Kali (Matt Boggs) Beatty of Mishawaka, her sister Kathy DeBroka and three nephews, along with her extended family and many friends.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Cruz Family Funeral Home in Osceola.  Funeral services will follow at 7 pm Thursday, July 22, 2021, at the funeral home with Pastor Travis Conklin of The Vine Church of Goshen, Indiana officiating.

Jeanie will be remembered for her adventurous spirit.  She loved to spend time outdoors in her garden and she was especially fond of sunflowers and roses. As a young woman, she loved to spend time ice skating and playing golf with her family.
