Jerry Gene Bowers

Jerry Gene Bowers, age 56, South Bend, passed away on December 25, 2022, in Nashville Tennessee while on vacation with his family. Jerry was born on May 11, 1966, in Mishawaka, Indiana to Paul and Florence (Bowers) Wanzell. On April 7, 2007, he married Cheryle (Hendricks) Bowers.

Cheryl survives along with children Amanda and Brandon, stepchildren, Tasha (Jeremiah) Rajski-Cole, Tony Multari, Zac (Sara) Christman. Grandchildren, Jaydin, Haylie, Liam, Hannah, Joseph, Nevaeh. Siblings, Larry Bowers, Keith Bowers, Rich (Tammy) Kazmierczak, Mark (Jody) Bowers, LouAnn Pollock, Kerma (Reese) Ridges. Many nieces and nephews. Preceding him death, father, stepdaughter, Desiree Smith, grandparents, dogs, Evea, Jax, Mia.

Jerry loved to ride his Harley. He enjoyed tinkering with things, fishing, and to travel. He was a huge Dalles Cowboy fan. Jerry especially loved being surrounded by family and friends. Jerry enjoyed eating and having a Bud Light along with his dogs.

Visitation will be on Thursday January 5, 2023, from 11-1, with a funeral service directly following at Cruz Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Paster Russell Shefbuch will be officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
