Jerry's love for bowling was lifelong. As a young boy, he worked as a pin setter at the local bowling alley. He was a great bowler and was especially proud of the time he bowled a perfect 300 game, a moment he always remembered and talked about.
Outside of work and bowling, Jerry found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved spending time fishing with his children, creating lasting memories by the water's edge. His love extended deeply to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom he adored immensely. Jerry also loved to spend time watching war movies and westerns when he had some quiet time to himself. Jerry was outgoing and fun to be around. He loved telling stories and could hold anyone's attention with his tales. He was a longtime VFW Post 360 in Mishawaka and loved to talk to and share stories with his fellow veterans.
