JOHN W. GRAMM December 4, 1927 - November 9, 2013 OSCEOLA- John W. Gramm, 85, of Osceola, passed away at 11:10 a.m. Saturday November 9, 2013 at the Elkhart Hospice House. He was born December 4, 1927 in Mishawaka to Clifford & Martha (Stumpff) Gramm. On July 31, 1948 in Mishawaka he married Wanda Lee. She preceded him in death on September 1, 2003 in California. Surviving are 2 sons, John Gramm of Knox, IN, Carl Gramm of Elkhart; 1 daughter, Jowanna Gramm of Elkhart,; 8 grandchildren;14 great-grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren and sister, Anna Lou Farrell of Elkhart. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kelly Gramm, a grandson, David Gramm, 2 sisters , Mary Eileen Porkorny and Eva Mae Delio and a great grandson, Gabriel. John retired from South Bend Stamping in 1991. He was an area resident until 1992 when he moved to Las Vegas. He returned to this area in 2004. John was a US Navy veteran serving in W.W.II and Korea. He was a member and past senior vice commander of the Osceola American Legion. Visitation for family and friends will be for 2 hours prior to the 2:00 p.m. Wednesday November 13, 2013 funeral service at Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home, 1109 Lincolnway West, Osceola, Indiana. Pastor Jeff Kendall will preside and burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, where the US Army Honor Guard and the Osceola American Legion will render military honors. Memorial contributions may be given to the Center for Hospice Care.
