Kathleen A. (Spink) Bradberry

Kathleen A. Bradberry, age 84 of Osceola, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka. She was a resident of Osceola for over 59 years.  Kathleen was born September 29, 1933 in Ladysmith, Wisconsin to the late William and Lois (Brand) Spink.  On December 22, 1950 she married Dean P. Bradberry in South Bend, Indiana. Dean preceded her in death passing away in February of 2011.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  Surviving are her children Lee (Larry) Northup, Robert (Sharon) Bradberry, Terri (Dennis) Garlat, and Steve (Cindy) Bradberry, 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.   She was preceded in death by her daughter Paula (Bobby) Gallahan .

Visitation will be held from 4-7 pm Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Cruz Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Osceola. There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the 1:00 pm funeral service on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Cruz Family Funeral Home with interment to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens where she will be laid to rest beside her husband Dean.

Besides being a mother to five children, Kathleen helped her husband for many years at their family owned body shop, Brad’s Body Shop in Mishawaka.  She was also a waitress, cleaned houses and helped her husband Dean in their later years with a delivery service.

Her family would like to give their deepest gratitude to the staff at Heartland Hospice Care for their commitment to make sure she went peacefully.  In her memory, donations may be given to Heartland Hospice.
