Larry Dean Stickel

Larry Dean Stickel, 80, of Granger, passed peacefully Monday morning, April 29, 2024. He was born on June 25, 1943, to the late Albert and Lucille (Selner) Stickel in Mishawaka and later married Marti “Martha” Fisher on July 27, 1991, in Bristol, IN.

She survives along with their children; Todd Stickel of Illinois and Chris Wiles and Tricia Collins, both of Elkhart.  Also survived by ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings, Caroline Pennington, Don and Jim Stickel.

Larry, a proud graduate of Jimtown High School's Class of 1961, continued his education at Tri State University in Angola. After completing his studies, he pursued a successful career as an engineer and manager at various CTS plants, here and in Taiwan, dedicating many years of service to the company. Throughout his life, he remained a steadfast member of the Jimtown United Methodist Church, where he actively participated in church activities and served several committees. His lifelong dedication to his community and his faith are fondly remembered by those who knew him.

A service to honor Larry’s life is scheduled for Saturday, May 11th, with visitation from 2-4pm with a funeral service beginning at 4, at Jimtown UMC.
