LAS VEGAS- Laura Pauline Butts, 94, of Las Vegas, formerly of Mishawaka, passed away on Saturday September 20, 2014 at her home in Las Vegas. She was born July 24, 1920 in Palmyra, PA to Dewey Herman & Violet Luella (Klinefelter) Deimler. On October 21, 1937 she married William M. Butts. He preceded her in death on Dec. 20, 1980. Surviving are nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 21 great great grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Linda Butts of South Bend; a son-in-law Dean Kemp of CA and 2 sisters. She was preceded in death by a son Leonard Butts; a daughter, Sherrie Lee Kent and 7 brothers and sisters. Laura was a homemaker who enjoyed square dancing with the Star Eights and she attended the Joan Brines School of Dance. A Celebration of Life Service for Laura will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday October 11, 2014 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 930 Park Place, Mishawaka, IN. Bishop Lee will preside. A Private family burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home in Osceola is entrusted with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be given to the Pet Refuge.
