Leslie Mae Martin

December 8, 1965 — February 19, 2025

Osceola, IN

Leslie Mae Martin lived a life full of love and laughter. On the morning of February 19, 2025, at the age of 59, she passed away peacefully at home in Osceola, surrounded by the people she cherished most—her family.

Born on December 8, 1965, in Crawford, Ohio, Leslie was the daughter of Dennis and Linda Mae (Stewart) Stuckert. She spent over 36 years as a waitress in the Michiana area, where took great care of her customers, making lifelong friends along her journey.

Leslie is survived by her husband of 43 years, “Gypsy” Johnny Martin, her son Dustin Colt (Jennifer Rae) Martin and her grandkids whom she adored, Damien Colt Martin and Natalie Marie Stilley. Surviving as well are her siblings Lisa LaGrand, Sharlena Forys, and Kevin Clark Sargent, as well as her brothers-in-law, Billy Ace Martin and Bobby P. Martin and her sister-in-law, Tonja Martin. While there won’t be any formal services, Leslie’s family asks that you honor her memory in your own way—by sharing a smile, performing an act of kindness, or simply thinking of her with love.

When she wasn’t working, Leslie and “Gypsy” Johnny enjoyed riding their Harley Davidson motorcycle, taking road trips to Sturgis and exploring the open road around the area. She loved being outdoors, whether it was camping, boating, or just soaking up time with her family. More than anything, though, Leslie was devoted to her role as a wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family always came first—no matter what.

Her joyful, fun-loving spirit will be deeply missed by everyone lucky enough to know her. Leslie never had a bad word to say to or about anyone—she believed in kindness above all else. She will always be remembered for her huge heart and the love she gave so freely, with nothing expected in return.
