Lester Joseph Rouch

Lester Joseph Rouch, age 79, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 27, 2020 at his home in Mishawaka.  Lester was born February 14, 1940 in Elkhart, Indiana to the late Roscoe and Gladys (Wells) Rouch.  Lester married Carolyn Waumans in May of 2005.  She preceded him in death, passing away on April 9, 2019.

Surviving are his children, Connie Rouch of Tampa, Florida, Raymond (Chris) Rouch of Wesley Chapel, Florida, Darla (Bill) Wright of Anderson, Indiana, Tina (Glen) Dilley of Elkhart, Indiana and Kevin (Stacey) Rouch of Edwardsburg, Michigan. Also surviving is the mother of his children, Thelma Rouch of Mishawaka and his brothers Ken Rouch of Edwardsburg, Michigan and Ron (Sharon) Rouch of Elkhart.   Surviving as well are 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and his favorite dog, Max.  Lester was preceded in death by his son Lester J. Rouch Jr., and his siblings Bill, Bob, Jim, Dick, and Paul Rouch as well as his sister Pauline Reedy.

Friends may visit with the Rouch family 2 hours prior to the 2:00pm Celebration of Life service on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Cruz Family Funeral Home in Osceola. Lester and Carolyn will be laid to rest together in Adamsville Road Cemetery in Edwardsburg, Michigan at a later date.

Lester was employed as a mechanic in the RV industry for over 50 years working with Beechcraft Motorhomes and later retiring from RV America.  In his spare time, he enjoyed building race cars that his brother Ron would drive on the many local tracks throughout the area.  Lester was also very handy and always helped others with projects around their homes.

Most of all, Lester loved the Lord.  He was a longtime member of Victory Chapel Church in Elkhart.
