Liliana Marie Gaona

Liliana Marie Gaona was born into Heaven on November 18, 2023.

Liliana’s arrival brought a sense of joy and anticipation into the lives of her parents, Edgar David and Emily Ruth (Peterson) Gaona and her big sisters Todriyana and Isabella Gaona, as well as her maternal grandparents Darrell and Leslie Peterson, and her paternal grandparents, Arturo and Alejandra Gaona.  She is survived as well by her aunts, Lizbeth (Elijah) Carter, Iveth (Robbie) Hoskinson and Rachel (Chris) Knafel and her uncles Arturo Gaona Jr. and Kyle (Jessica) Peterson.  Although her time with us was brief, Liliana's presence touched our hearts and left an indelible mark on our lives and there is joy in knowing she rests peacefully in in the arms of Jesus. During her brief time on Earth, Liliana was surrounded by the love and warmth of her family.

She will be laid to rest in Rice Cemetery, Elkhart where a private family service was held to honor and remember Liliana.  Cruz Family Funeral Home of Osceola has been entrusted with her care.

Liliana Gaona will always be in our hearts, a cherished and eternal presence. May she find peace, and may her memory be a source of comfort to those who loved her.
