Linda Kay Martin-Clark, of Osceola, Indiana, passed away surrounded by her three children on August 1, 2022, one day shy of her 81st birthday, at the Center for Hospice, Raclin House, in Mishawaka.  She was born August 2, 1941, in Terre Haute, Indiana to the late Carroll James and Myrtle (Jackson) Richey.   She was married to her husband Carl Martin in December of 1977. Carl preceded her in death.  On September 28, 2011, she married Frank Clark in Tennessee.  Frank preceded Linda in death on March 23, 2022.

Linda is survived by her children Donna McKay of Mishawaka, Lesley (Rodney) Perry of Osceola, and David (Janet) Middleton of Cassopolis, Michigan.  Surviving as well are fourteen grandchildren, numerous great- grandchildren and several step grand and great grandchildren.  Linda is also survived by her sister Teri Lebo of LaPorte, Indiana.  Her daughter, Deborah Claeys preceded her in death.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Cruz Family Funeral Home in Osceola.  There will also be one hour of calling prior to the 11:00 am funeral service on Friday, August 5, 2022, with interment to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.

Linda provided in-home child care for many children from 1965 until her retirement in 2008.  Her example of love and compassion for children left a lasting impression on generations of people. Her sense of humor was unmatched, and Linda loved to laugh as well as make others laugh.

In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time outdoors in the sunshine, camping, and boating on Juno Lake.  She also enjoyed shopping at flea markets and on QVC.  Linda was also a compassionate follower of Christ and was a longtime member of the Cedar Road Missionary Church in Osceola.

In her memory, donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children. Her family would like to thank the Nurses, Doctors and staff at the Center for Hospice for the outstanding care given during her time in their care.  To light a virtual candle, share a story of her life, or leave a message of comfort for her family, please follow the links provided on the tribute wall tab above.
