Loretta B. "Doll" Adams, 82, of Elkhart, passed away on Friday January 23, 2015 at Woodland Manor in Elkhart. She was born December 12, 1932 in South Bend to the late Lewis & Beatrice Blanton. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lewis & Lorenzo Blanton and a sister, Madelyn Brown. Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and great nephews. Loretta was formerly employed as a secretary at Rush Memorial Hospital in Chicago and moved from Chicago to South Bend in 2000. She loved animals especially her dog "Drownie" and enjoyed playing cards especially Tripoley. Cremation will take place and a private family graveside service will be held at Cutty Back Cemetery in Paw Paw, Michigan at a later date. Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home is entrusted with her arrangements. Memorial contributions may be given to the Senior Park Angel Garden at Hubbard Hill Estates.
