Marcus A. Tam

Marcus A. Tam, age 67 of Lakeville, Indiana, passed away at the Center for Hospice Care, Raclin House on Friday, September 22, 2023.  Marcus was born August 1, 1956, in South Bend, Indiana to the late Wendell and Louise (DeHaven) Tam.  On July 31, 1993, he married Cathy Simmons. They recently celebrated 30 years of marriage.

He is survived by his wife Cathy Tam of Lakeville, Indiana and his children Nicholas, Melissa, and Phillip along with his stepchildren Billy (Tammy) and Robbie Dickson.  Surviving as well are his siblings David (Linda) Tam, Curtis (Terri) Tam and Colleen Minder.  He was preceded in death by his siblings Gary Tam and Janet Smith.

Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the 4:00pm funeral service on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Cruz Family Funeral Home in Osceola.  Military honors will be rendered during the service and cremation will follow.

Marcus was employed in the RV Industry for many years as a painter and maintenance man.  He was very social and made friends easily.  He was also extremely proud of his service to his country as a veteran of the US Army.
