Mary Lou spent the majority of her years as a homemaker and loved spending time with her children. In her spare time she enjoyed putting together large jigsaw puzzles. Her favorite time of the year was around the holidays where she would make her famous Swedish Rye Bread and Swedish Sausage for her family.
Most of all, Mary Lou will be remembered for the love she had for her family and her strong-willed, no-nonsense, and independent attitude throughout her life and her love for everything Elvis. She collected Elvis memorabilia and she listened to Elvis music non-stop at her house. During this time of the year, it was the best of Elvis Christmas music. We will always remember our mother through her love of Elvis music as this is how she left this heavenly earth; that is listening to the music she loved, as her children sat with her.
