Mary Jane (Tajkowski) Odiorne

Mary Jane Odiorne, age 89 of Mishawaka, passed away June 9, 2022, at Elkhart General Hospital.  Mary Jane was born January 13, 1933, in South Bend, Indiana to the late Edward J. and Mary Tajkowski.

She is survived by her son Mike (Tammy) Odiorne of Elkhart, her grandchildren Denise Higgenbottom of Mishawaka, and Erin Odiorne of Berrien Springs, Michigan and her great grandchildren Henry and Eli Higgenbottom.

A graveside service will be held at  11:00 am Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Olive Cemetery in Elkhart.  Cruz Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service has been entrusted with her care.

Mary Jane was employed as a butcher for many years at the A&P, Park N’ Shop and later at Martins Supermarkets.  In her spare time, she enjoyed coloring, crocheting, cooking and was meticulous in her housekeeping.  Most of all, she loved being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her family.
