Merri had a kind heart and a gentle soul. Her life was a testament to the quiet strength that lies in compassion and understanding. Her willingness to help others knew no bounds. Whether it was a kind word, a helping hand, or just being there, Merri was always willing to step in and give.
She had a great passion for her dogs, and especially adored her wiener dog “December,” who Merri jokingly referred to as “her first grandbaby.” Her furry friends were a part of her family, a source of unconditional love and joy. Merri also loved to listen to rock and roll and enjoyed all kinds of music.
Her sons were the center of her world, and her love for them was endless. She shared a special bond with each of them, guiding them through life's challenges with wisdom and patience. The loss of her son Adam was very difficult for Merri, yet she carried on with grace, keeping his memory alive in her heart and in the stories she shared. Her granddaughters were her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Merri's quiet nature was complemented by a wonderful sense of humor, a combination that endeared her to many.
