When he wasn’t busy working, Mike enjoyed watching NASCAR and socializing with his friends at Mr. G’s in Osceola. He was also a huge fan of Notre Dame Football and loved cars and trucks. He was especially fond of Corvettes, and had his custom painted in a Notre Dame theme. Mike was also a proud Veteran and loved to spend time with his friends at the American Legion Post 308 in Osceola where he was a member for more than 50 years. He loved spending time watching old westerns, especially John Wayne.
More than anything else, Mike loved his family. No matter what the circumstances, when they needed something, he was there for them without hesitation. His happy-go-lucky attitude, generosity, and wonderful sense of humor will be greatly missed.
