Neomi Dawn Middleton lived her 32 years full of love, laughter, sunshine and rainbows, and a little bit of sass. Our beloved daughter, mother, granddaughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend, passed away at home, unexpectedly, due to complications from her 27-year battle with Diabetes.
Neomi was born August 5, 1990, in South Bend, IN, to Valarie Middleton and Todd Isbell, and was a lifelong resident of Mishawaka, IN. Shedding light across this world with ease from the moment she entered, with her sparkling eyes, and highly contagious smile. In 2015, she became a mother to the truest love of her life, Beau, he was what made her world turn. Words of encouragement to everyone came from her almost daily via a phone call, text, or a post on her social media, just putting it out into the world as she did. Loving and accepting people came naturally and should be left as an inspiration to all. Her appetite for food was almost as great as her lust for life. Neomi would want us all to be rejoicing, singing loudly, dancing, eating and making the best of every single day. Play your favorite song loud and also sing it loud like no one is listening. When you see the sunshine and feel its warmth, know it’s her wrapping her love around all that she loved. She will always be a ray of pure sunshine.
Our Beautiful Neomi Dawn is survived by her son Beau Sinka, her mother Valarie Middleton, and her siblings, Andrew Isbell, Olivia Szeltner (Luis Aquino), and Tyler Szeltner. Surviving as well are her maternal grandparents Jack and Kay Middleton, and her maternal aunts Betty (Jeremy) Kring, Lesley (Tim) Tyler. Paternal aunts and uncles Scott (Fran)Shroyer, Robert Lance Isbell, Elizabeth (Matt Taylor) McCombs, Sue (Fred) Morgan and Jennifer Isbell. Niece O’Lana and Nephews Xhonie, Louie and baby Javie (arriving this March) so many loving cousins and close friend Keya Hoffer, as well as many other dear friends are left to cherish her memory. Preceding her in death, her father Todd Isbell, stepmother Alice Streeter, and her lifelong best friend and holey sock, Danae Evans Rudge.
