Patricia Irene Rich, 86, of Lexington, formerly of Florida, passed away July 6, 2018 at Shirkey Nursing Home, Richmond.. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Shirkey Hospice.
Patricia was born December 20, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan to Theodore and Dimple (Van Pherson) Yochum. She married Larry Rich on December 22, 1962. He preceded her in death. She was a postal worker. She was a past president of the Rural Letter Carriers Union.
Patricia is survived by her daughter, Penny Shank and husband Glenn of Lexington; one grandchild, Michael Shank and wife Mischelle and three great grandchildren, Kaylee and husband Brett, Laney and Mason. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Max Wayne Freed and Larry Rich, and two grandsons, Lance and Lee Shank.

Visitation will be held from 12-1pm Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Cruz Family Funeral Home in Osceola with procession to Southlawn Cemetery and a graveside service to follow at 1pm.
